Before signing up for a raid:

  • Familiarize yourself with the abilities, strategies, positioning and your class’ specific role for all bosses for this raid. See the raid forum for details.
  • Ensure you have all required add-ons installed and up to date (update boss mods weekly during progression).
  • Familiarize yourself with our loot system and know what items you might be interested in. Any spreadsheet calculations, stat research or fashion matching should not be done during the raid.
  • Have a working installation of Ventrillo.
  • Double check your loot priority; verify what bid levels are available to you.
  • Obtain all required consumables (flasks/elixirs and food) for a full night of raiding (3.5 hours, 4.5 on Sunday). Do not rely on someone bringing feasts.

Before the raid starts:

  • Refesh your familiarity with the abilities, strategies, positioning and your class’ specific role for all bosses for this raid. See the raid forum for details.
  • Be online, out of BGs/Arena, instances, etc. at least 15 minutes before the raid starts; anyone not in the raid ready to go by 8:30 won't be given a spot (just under the wire may get an invite for attendance purposes). Be ready to zone in and start pulling by 8:35.
  • If you are not in groups 1-5, stay in the raid until the raid leader announces that attendance has been taken.

Signup explainations:

  • Yes: you want to attend the raid, are or will be (by the raid start time) fully prepared as described in “Before signing up for a raid”, and are not aware of anything that will prevent you from showing up on time (i.e. no later than the raid start time) or anything that will prevent you from staying for the entire raid (all raids end no later than 12:00AM server).
  • Can be: this is the same as “Yes” except that you would not mind sitting out for this raid (you get attendance credit as per normal). It still means you will show up on time and if needed can stay for the entire raid. Raid leaders will do their best to honor your preference but sometimes you will be asked to attend.
  • Late/Early: there are known circumstances that might prevent you from being on time or staying for the entire raid’s length. Please remind the raid leader of them when you join the raid.
  • Unsure: you will try to make the raid but there are known things that might prevent you from being able to play (i.e. flaky internet connection, dinner that might be running late, etc.). As long as you show up on time you will get attendance credit and if a spot is available it will be yours.
  • No: you are not planning on attending the raid.
  • Please use “Yes” and “Can be” properly in the way they are described above as raid leaders count on those when rostering the raids.
  • It’s OK to change your sign up as many times as you want but please avoid doing it too close to raid start time.
  • Signups in place 24 hours before raid start time get a bonus of +2000 (for Yes/Can Be/Late/Early) or +1000 (for Unsure).
